Ensuring a Safe Work Environment

With the ultimate goal of keeping our organization in line with high safety standards and providing an environment-friendly culture, we at Islam Oxygen applied for accreditation in Occupational Health and Occupational Safety Standards OHSAS 18001 and Environmental Standards ISO 14001. In fact, we were one of the first of a few organizations in Bangladesh that took the step towards establishing a positive safety and environment culture.

Personnel Safety

We at Islam Oxygen work towards the realization of our belief that accidents and injuries can be prevented. We have continuous mechanisms to identify the contributing factors to every accident and use our findings to develop and implement policies and practices to help keep our employees, customers, contractors, and communities safe.

Distribution Safety

We supply our products either through pipelines or through other transport methods like a cylinder, tube trailers, ISO tanks, cryogenic semi-trailers, and trucks.  And we have a wide range of fleets that cater to our customers’ requirements day and night, all across the country and beyond.
Each of our drivers is trained to maintain high alertness and a high level of safety awareness, to achieve our goals and targets of Zero Accidents while maintaining delivery time deadlines.

Process Safety

At Islam Oxygen we work towards the realization of our belief that accidents and injuries can be prevented. We have continuous mechanisms to identify the contributing factors to every accident and use our findings to develop and implement policies and practices to help keep our employees and interested parties safe from any potential hazards impacting safety, environmental damage and business losses. The goal of process safety management is to develop plant systems and procedures to prevent unwanted production stoppages; releases that may ignite or cause toxic impacts, local fires or explosions.

Any near misses are specifically monitored and thorough root causes are established for appropriate corrective action in order to prevent any recurrences.

Product Safety

The risks associated with the use of Islam Oxygen manufactured or traded products are identified and addressed throughout all stages of the product lifecycle, including product manufacture, marketing, distribution, use, recycle and disposal.

We carefully verify compliance of all procured material against requirements; specifications and all applicable regulations while at the same time follow stringent norms of all applicable standards and procedures using trained personnel to ensure product quality within specifications.
